Mr. Curtis leads market and business planning for LTE service provider Cavalier Wireless, which holds 700 MHz and AWS spectrum covering 43 million people in the United States. Mr. Curtis co-founded Stelera Wireless, a pioneer in HSPA+ technology and a regional broadband service provider, where he was CEO until recently. As chief technology officer, and in partnership with Nokia Siemens Networks, Mr. Curtis built the first i-HSPA network, a flat all-IP network with a distributed RNC, and launched the first AWS and 7.2 Mbps HSPA network in North America. Previously, Mr. Curtis led Corporate Development for Syniverse Technologies (NYSE: SVR) where he was responsible for strategy, completing several cross-border acquisitions, and helped guide the company’s IPO in 2005. Mr. Curtis holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
