Jay Olearain is vice president of channel sales for nPhase, a recently formed joint venture of Verizon Wireless / Qualcomm, to provide machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless communications and smart services offerings across a wide variety of market segments, including healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, distribution and consumer products. As a key member of the nPhase executive team, he is responsible for business development and strategic sales of enterprise and consumer electronic M2M solutions. Olearain has 24 years of experience in the wireless industry, most recently, leading the Enterprise Data Industrial vertical sales team at Verizon Wireless, responsible for deploying wireless data applications to Fortune 1000 manufacturing and construction customers. Throughout his career Olearain has held various positions including: business sales management, wireless network operations, radio frequency and sales engineering. Olearain earned a bachelor’s degree in eBusiness from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Wireless Telecommunications from the University of Denver.
